Experienced Piping Engineer - Ontario

Step into a leading role as an Experienced Piping Engineer with WSP in Ontario, specializing in mining and heavy industrial projects. Drive project success through innovative design. WSP is actively recruiting for an Experienced Piping Engineer who will lead mechanical design packages intended for high-performing operations. Candidates must bring over 15 years of experience in the field and demonstrate a profound understanding of integration within multidisciplinary teams. Your role will involve mentoring engineers and engaging directly with clients to address engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee piping design packages from initial concepts to completion
- Create specifications and calculations that ensure safety and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on project integration
- Validate designs to ensure quality and adherence to regulations
- Provide technical mentorship to less experienced engineers
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- At least 15 years of experience in piping engineering
- Eligibility for P.Eng. designation in Canada preferred
- Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems
- Open to fieldwork and committed to safety standards
