Job Description

Looking for an opportunity to grow, learn and flourish as an Occupational Therapist?

We are currently seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Conduct Occupational Therapy In-Home Assessments to assess Attendant Care Needs (Form 1) and assistive devices
Provide treatment with Implementation of functional and cognitive strategies and techniques as appropriate
Demonstrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles with all clients and family members
Document accident benefits initial and progress reports
Supervise rehab support worker with carry through of Occupational Therapy goals
Provide education to clients/family; follow-up with progress with respect to SMART goals
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and participate in meetings
Facilitate rehabilitation of client with cognitive, emotional or physical impairments
Monitor and assess client rehabilitative programs
Convey treatment results and client progress to an interdisciplinary team
Organize and update client records

Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy Insurance from respective association (i.e. CAOT, OSOT)
Valid Ontario Driver's License
Previous experience in the auto insurance sector is an asset
Passion to help and motivate others
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
