Leverage your engineering skills to design innovative solutions for hydraulic structures and dams. As a key member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in hydrotechnical project tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Sc., and 4-6 years of experience in hydrotechnical engineering. Responsibilities include hydraulic modeling, floodplain mapping, and close collaboration with regulatory experts and biologists to achieve successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydrologic studies and hydraulic analyses
- Design hydraulic structures and fish passage facilities
- Undertake dam safety projects and inundation mapping
- Utilize numerical modeling software like HEC-RAS
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary project teams
- P. Eng. registration or commitment to licensure
- 4-6 years of civil engineering experience
- Experience with CFD modeling tools preferred
- Knowledge of Canadian Dam Association Guidelines
- Authorization to work in Canada and U.S.
