Director of Trades Education at YMCA

As Director of Technical Instruction, you will oversee curriculum development, provide mentorship to instructors, and ensure program alignment with employer needs. Collaboration with community partners will be key to enhancing training program sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct skilled trades training and curriculum strategies
- Mentor instructors to ensure high-quality education
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Monitor program effectiveness using student feedback
- Represent the program in community and industry events
- 5-8 years of experience in skilled trades or training
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques and tools
- Previous teaching or mentorship is highly preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills essential
- Valid work permit for Canada required
