Position Details:  

Job Type : part-time, permanent
Vacancy : This posting is for an existing vacancy (replacement for a currently unfilled position)  
Compensation : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

As a Guest Services Agent at Carmen’s Group, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience for every guest. Whether it’s greeting and assisting guests, managing reservations and inquiries, or supporting daily front desk operations, your professionalism and commitment to service excellence contribute to the extraordinary experiences we’re known for. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

 

• Provide a warm, personalized guest experience by assisting with inquiries, requests, arrivals, departures, and overall stay coordination.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, guest accounts, payments, and daily front desk records while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
• Promote hotel amenities, services, events, and local attractions while staying knowledgeable about room types, rates, and availability
• Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment; maintain cash float and security of keys 
• Communicate effectively with Housekeeping and other departments to coordinate room readiness, updates, and guest needs.
• Address guest concerns and complaints professionally, using sound judgment to resolve issues and create positive outcomes.
• Maintain a professional appearance and contribute to a positive team environment
• Support operations, cross-train in other departments as needed, and assisting with additional duties as required.

The Hospitality You Bring to Every Stay  

 

• 1-2 years’ experience in a hotel environment, preferably as a Guest Services Agent
• Friendly, professional, and customer service focused  
• Strong problem-solving abilities  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Smart Serve certification required 
• Clean criminal background check and ability to uphold guest confidentiality and hotel security standards 
• Completion of college or university program in hospitality management is considered an asset 
• Experience using Hotel PMS software considered an asset
