St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full-time Jr High Math/Science/CTF teaching position at St. Augustine School in Ponoka, Alberta. We are seeking a dynamic Junior High Math and Science specialist to teach Grades 7 and 8, with additional responsibility for Career and Technology Foundations (CTF) courses. The successful candidate will be passionate about engaging students in hands-on inquiry based learning and fostering strong foundational skills in numeracy, scientific thinking and problem solving. Candidates with an interested in or experience in coding, robotics or technology enhanced learning will be viewed as a strong asset.This position will begin August 27, 2026 and end June 30, 2027.
Ability to assist in the schools co-curricular and extra-curricular programs would be considered an asset. Possessing a certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College is an asset.
