About the Role

Senior Product Owner Oracle Fusion Cloud. Responsible for the implementation, integration, and management of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, primarily focusing on General Ledger, Intercompany, Human Capital Management, and Fixed Assets modules to ensure smooth financial system integration, especially during acquisitions.

Reports to: Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation and Configuration: Manage the implementation and configuration of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules; gather requirements; translate requirements into system configurations; manage integration during acquisitions; define system requirements; develop detailed implementation plans; ensure financial processes and reporting are accurately reflected.
  • System Maintenance and Support: Manage daily operations and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications; provide technical support; resolve issues; monitor system performance; implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze current financial processes; identify improvement or automation opportunities; develop best practices; ensure the system architecture supports scalability and growth; stay informed of new Oracle Fusion Cloud features and recommend adoption.
  • Training and Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures; develop training programs tailored for post‑acquisition changes and integrations.
  • Systems and Financial Data Compliance: Develop and refine control protocols for financial systems and data; support the performance of controls 52‑109; collaborate with the 52‑109 compliance program and auditors; document and validate new controls.

What You Bring to the Table

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA designation, master's degree, or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud or a leading ERP system, focusing on General Ledger, Intercompany, Human Capital Management, and Fixed Assets modules.
  • Proven experience leading ERP implementations and managing ongoing system maintenance.
  • Strong experience in financial systems and accounting principles, with post‑acquisition financial integration.

Skills

  • In‑depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications or a leading ERP system, specifically the modules for General Ledger, Intercompany, Human Capital Management, and Fixed Assets.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and project management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • For Quebec candidates, bilingualism (English/French) is required.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other ERP modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury Management.
  • Experience in the finance, insurance, or technology sectors.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work model: three days per week in the office.
  • Occasional travel to company sites.
  • Fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
