Pharmacy Data Specialist (Winnipeg)

Position Overview

What you’ll do

• Retrieve faxed or electronic physician orders, prescription requests, or refill requests.
• Enter prescriptions, refills, and prescription changes into the patient’s record.
• Create new patient profiles and maintain existing patient records on the MediSystem database.
• Prepare prescription label printouts.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

• Strong computer skills and ability to navigate a variety of computer systems quickly.

Preferred qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a science field or a pharmacy‑related diploma/certificate.
• Experience with Kroll software.
• Experience or knowledge of weekly dispensing, including multi‑dose or compliance packaging.

Schedule and Employment

Full‑time, regular position. Employees must be flexible to work various shifts, including occasional weekend shifts and statutory holidays.

Compensation

Hiring range: $18.40 – $25.30 per hour.
