What You'll Do

Customer Service & Membership Experience

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming environment for all members and guests.
• Conduct club tours and assist prospective members in finding the right membership solutions.
• Generate membership sales and support club growth initiatives.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage member inquiries.
• Build strong relationships with members to enhance retention and engagement.
• Assist with administrative duties and member account management.
• Support community outreach, marketing initiatives, and special events.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional club environment.

Fitness Coaching & Training

• Conduct fitness consultations and goal-setting sessions.
• Design and deliver safe and effective exercise programs.
• Lead one-on-one and Small Group Training sessions.
• Educate, motivate, and coach members to achieve sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate training services.
• Monitor client progress and provide ongoing support and accountability.
• Promote health, wellness, and a positive fitness culture within the club.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid Personal Training Certification recognized in Canada (BCRPA, CanFitPro, NASM, ACE, ISSA, CSCS, etc.).
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of sales experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of personal training experience.
• Experience in the fitness industry is considered an asset but is not required for candidates with strong transferable skills and a passion for learning.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting wage from $19.00 per hour for floor and customer service hours.
• Personal Training earnings ranging from $25.00–$40.00 per hour .

Schedule

• Day, evening, and weekend availability required.
• Approximately 20–35 hours per week .
• Flexible scheduling based on club operational needs.
• Applicants do not need to be available for every shift listed; however, flexibility is highly valued.
