Autobody Technician for Paint Preparation

The ideal candidate has experience in autobody preparation, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. This includes sanding, masking, priming, and ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for the next phase of repair.

Responsibilities:
-Perform sanding, masking, and taping of vehicles to prepare for paint application
-Apply primer and sealer as required
-Inspect prepped areas for imperfections and correct as needed
-Clean and maintain prep area and tools
-Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
-Work closely with painters and body technicians to ensure smooth workflow
-Maintain high-quality standards and efficiency
Apply and block body filler when required

Requirements:
-Proficiency with autobody repair tools and techniques
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-Knowledge of autobody materials, sanding techniques, and primer application
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
-Must be reliable, punctual, and safety conscious

Wage: $22-40/hour depending on experience and qualifications
The most suitable candidate,  may be considered for a starting wage at the upper end of the range if capable of metal and filler work start to finish.
