Job description
People Store Staffing Solutions is currently hiring a Machine Operator for our client in South London.
Available Shifts
- Night: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Days: 7:00 - 3:00 PM
Duties
- Set up, adjust, and operate machines
- Perform production tasks according to company standards
- Conduct quality inspections of completed units
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work comfortably and safely in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, factory, or machine operating experience is required
- Candidates must have hands-on experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment
- Must be comfortable speaking and communicating in English and be able to understand and obtain information in English
- Forklift License preferred
- 1–2 years of relevant experience or recent graduate in a machine operating related field
- Proven track record of positive attendance and reliability
- CSA-approved safety boots or shoes
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Please note: Manufacturing/factory experience and the ability to communicate effectively in English are mandatory requirements for this position.
