General Labour

Job Responsibility:

Prepare material for production; cut open boxes, unpack, sort materials into gaylord boxes, pack on skids, wrap skids or put material in forklift upper.

Responsibilities:

• Materials handling safely and securely;
• Assist the Manager & operator with multiple tasks to help them accomplish the production goal;
• Clean and maintain work area and or workstation, plant, and equipment;
• Maintain high standards of security, be always health & safety conscious to avoid accidents or injuries;
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Able to work all day with PPE that will be supplied by FCM: (Hard hat, safety glasses, work coat & ear plugs) and with your steel toe boots;
• Must be in good physical condition (lifting and moving up to 50 lbs./ 23 Kg at a time) and standing throughout work shift;
• Ability to work with tools;
• Good attention to detail, manual dexterity, and good hand to eye coordination;
• No experience required but preference given to those with warehouse and/or manufacturing shop experience.
