Operations Manager

Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brampton, ON, responsible for overseeing daily security operations and ensuring consistent service delivery. This role coordinates scheduling, deployment, and supervision of security staff, monitors site performance, and addresses operational issues in real time. The Operations Manager collaborates with clients to understand requirements, conducts site visits, and implements procedures that support safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Daily activities include reviewing incident reports, updating operational plans, optimizing resource allocation, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members. The role also involves tracking key performance indicators, preparing operational reports, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience managing daily operations in security services, facilities management, or a related service environment, including staff supervision and scheduling.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple sites, and respond effectively to urgent situations.
• Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency with basic office software and operational tools (e.g., scheduling systems, incident reporting platforms, spreadsheets, and email).
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, provide coaching and feedback, and foster a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Previous experience in the security industry and familiarity with security protocols, guard licensing requirements, and site post orders are strong assets.
• Post-secondary education in business, security management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Eligibility to work on-site in Brampton, ON, and availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as operational needs require.
