Facility Assistant I

Richardson Pioneer, a division of Richardson International, is Canadas leading agribusiness.  Richardson Pioneer supports Canadian farmers throughout the growing season  providing agronomic services and advice, selling crop inputs, buying their crops at harvest and selling them to markets around the world through the most efficient network of high throughput Ag Business Centres in Western Canada.

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility.  We currently have an opportunity for a Facility Assistant I at our Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centre located in Assiniboia, SK.  As a Facility Assistant you will be part of a team that works hands on to support the safe, efficient operation of a crop inputs facility.

Responsibilities:
- Storage and shipping of western Canadian crop inputs/grains
- Operational support and assistance to location staff and customers
- Operation of facility equipment and controls
- Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year grain handling or crop inputs experience
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills; and customer service skills
- Ambition and organizational skills
- Orientation to accuracy and detail
- An agriculture background is an asset
