Operations Front Line Supervisor

Airswift is seeking an experienced Operations Front Line Supervisor to work on a 1-year contract basis with a major Oil & Gas client in Cold Lake, Alberta.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, managing site operations and driving performance in a dynamic environment.
Role Overview
As a Front Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 8–10 technicians , ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations on site. You will act as a key link between engineering leadership and field execution. This role is initially contract-based, with a strong possibility of conversion to a permanent position .
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of 8–10 field personnel
- Ensure safe and compliant site operations in line with industry standards
- Drive daily operational performance and productivity
- Provide hands‑on leadership and technical guidance to the team
- Coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational activities
- Promote a strong safety‑first culture
- Report on site performance and elevate issues as required
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a relevant industry
- Background in power generation or oil & gas (preferred)
- Must hold a First Class Engineering Certificate (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong technical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, site‑based environment
