Human Resources Advisor for NAV CANADA

Nav Canada

Join NAV CANADA as a Human Resources Business Advisor in Ottawa for a one-year term. In this hybrid role, you will provide crucial HR support and guidance. This position focuses on HR policy administration and compliance while partnering with diverse People Managers in Ottawa. You will enhance HR programs and support managers with talent acquisition, organizational health, and employee relations while ensuring adherence to labour relations standards. Your expertise will help navigate challenging conversations and build strong relationships with leaders. Key Responsibilities:

Partner with managers to optimize HR programs
Participate in organizational change initiatives
Coach managers for effective program implementation
Interpret complex HR policies and collective agreements
Conduct research to guide HR strategies

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience
Experience in a unionized setting
Familiar with HR systems, preferably Workday
Strong analytical skills in HR contexts
