Blair Health is closing the specialist gap in women’s healthcare by making expert menopause and midlife care instantly accessible using AI-driven clinical intelligence. We’re hiring a Full-Stack Engineer to join us on the ground in Canada — someone who can ship quickly, work across the stack, and help build a category-defining women’s health platform.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship end-to-end product features across patient, provider, and operational workflows
- Work across our stack: React/TypeScript, Tailwind, Node/Python, Supabase/Postgres
- Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and internal tools
- Contribute to our AI/LLM-driven clinical intelligence features (with support from our ML team)
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security as we scale across Canada and the U.S.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and clinical teams to translate real clinical workflows into software
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
- Help evolve our DevOps, QA, and engineering best practices as we grow
- Operate in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership and autonomy
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Mission with real impact: Reduce 6–12 month specialist wait times to minutes
- Fast-growing category: Women’s midlife health is a $50B+ underserved market
- Builder environment: High velocity, low bureaucracy, real ownership
- Work with AI: Hands-on exposure to LLM-powered assessments and clinical decision systems
- Founder-led culture: Collaborative, no ego, rapid iteration
- Career growth: Opportunities to grow into senior technical leadership as we scale
You Are
- A hands-on engineer who loves building and shipping quickly
- Strong across frontend + backend and comfortable working autonomously
- Curious about AI/LLMs — excited to learn and apply them
- A problem solver who can unblock yourself and make things happen
- A clear communicator who works well with product, design, and clinicians
- Low ego, collaborative, and thrives in ambiguity
- Someone who wants to help build something meaningful from the ground up
- 3–5+ years full-stack engineering experience (startup experience a strong plus)
- Experience with Node.js or Python
- Familiarity with Postgres/Supabase or similar relational databases
- Comfort building production systems with real users
- Bonus: experience or interest in ML/LLM systems, embeddings, or applied AI
What We Offer
- Competitive salary + meaningful early equity
- Work directly with the CEO, clinical co-founder, and senior engineering leadership
- High autonomy + ownership of major features and systems
- Flexible work environment (remote in Canada or Toronto hybrid)
- Chance to shape the future of women’s health at scale
