The Opportunity

Under the supervision of the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Associate implements and maintains programs ensuring Nutrition and Natural Health Products comply with all regulatory, corporate, and divisional requirements.

This is a full‑time, temporary position, based at Abbott Nutrition’s Montreal Head Office, working day shift.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure compliance with Good Distribution and Documentation Practices in collaboration with Distribution Centers and Third‑Party Manufacturers.
  • Manage product disposition, including product release, returns evaluation, holds, and destruction orders.
  • Ensure timely handling and registration of quality and medical complaints.
  • Verify daily compliance of QA‑related departments, including training completion.
  • Act as backup for QA Compliance and QA Program leadership roles.
  • Maintain quality system effectiveness, supplier management programs, training programs, stability programs, and license renewals.
  • Support regulatory audits and cross‑functional quality investigations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science
  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in QA/QC within nutrition, natural health product manufacturing, or laboratory environments preferred
  • Knowledge of warehouse and manufacturing best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High integrity and sense of urgency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French

Working Conditions

  • Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8‑hour day)
