Lead Hand

Job Responsibility:

Leads and works with 4-7 employees on the Plant floor majority of the time. Reports to Plant Manager. Promotes, leads and implements core company values by planning and managing plant programs. Completes reports for production.

This is a working Lead hand role on days / nights monthly rotation. Training will be on days

Responsibilities and Duties

-Complete daily quality checks on the plant floor.-Works on production floor.-Heavy lifting-Performs quality inspections on production floor-Schedules daily production and ensures completion.-Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable legislation including training employees; ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies, assisting with implementation and conducting safety training.-Ensure submission of employee time cards and accountability of time against published schedule of hours scheduled.-Assists the plant manager on maintaining control over company assets and tracking maintenance data.-Prepares appropriate operating and inventory reports on daily/weekly basis and other reports that are required by the plant manager and/or President to manage the plant.-Available for straight afternoons, Monday-Friday (Training on day shift)-Other duties as assigned.

Manufacturing experience an assetStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently regarding daily activities.Ability to maintain confidential, sensitive or proprietary information.Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.Able to complete physical work on manufacturing floor
