Senior Protein Scientist in Canadian Biotech

The ideal candidate will take charge of developing and characterizing purification workflows critical to our innovative platform. This position requires independent experimentation and collaboration across multiple teams to enhance product quality. A hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design purification workflows for high-quality protein isolation
• Refine modular protocols adaptable to different proteins
• Investigate and solve purification issues like low yield
• Analyze protein datasets to provide feedback for genetic design
• Document experiments in Benchling for effective information sharing
Requirements:
• MSc with ≥2 years’ or BSc with ≥4 years’ experience
• Experience with chromatographic and analytical techniques
• Proven ability to manage multiple research projects
• Strong written and communication skills across teams
• Solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail
