Join a small, client-focused accounting firm as an Accounting Technician in High River, AB. This hands-on role involves bookkeeping and administrative tasks to support smooth office operations. We seek a reliable and organized individual with at least 1-3 years of practical bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel is essential, along with a passion for detailed work. As a vital team member, you will handle client files, maintain records, and collaborate on timely file completion. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize client files for tax work
- Maintain bookkeeping records using QuickBooks Online
- Record financial transactions to trial balance
- Prepare compliance returns like T4 and GST
- Perform reconciliations of various accounts
- Bookkeeping Diploma or 1-3 years experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and Sage 50
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written English communication
- Prior experience in Personal Tax Preparation
