Educational Technologist for AVC DVM Program

Enhance veterinary education as an Educational Technologist at the Atlantic Veterinary College. Collaborate with faculty to improve technology integration for better learning outcomes in the DVM program. The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) is looking for an Educational Technologist to join the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. This role involves working closely with faculty, staff, and campus partners to assess and implement educational technologies that enhance teaching, assessment, and curriculum delivery. Candidates should have experience with educational technologies and a solid understanding of pedagogical principles. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess educational technology needs across the DVM program
• Analyze teaching practices to recommend effective technology use
• Support faculty in technology-driven course design and assessment
• Collaborate with the Teaching and Learning Centre on pedagogical approaches
• Evaluate educational technologies for their impact on learning outcomes Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Minimum three years in educational technology roles
• Strong understanding of higher education pedagogical principles
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Leverage your expertise in educational technology to promote excellence in veterinary education at AVC.
