About the Role

We’re hiring a CRO Specialist to lead conversion performance across our Shopify store, landing pages, and broader funnel. You’ll run a continuous experimentation program. That means spotting opportunities in the data, forming hypotheses, launching tests, and reading results, all with the goal of meaningfully moving our conversion rate, AOV, and other key metrics.

This is a role with real ownership. You’ll have the autonomy to set the testing roadmap and the support to execute it. We care less about ticking every checkbox below and more about your ability to think clearly, test rigorously, and ship improvements consistently.

What You’ll Do

• Own the experimentation roadmap for our Shopify store, landing pages, and customer acquisition engine.

• Dig into analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and customer feedback to identify where the funnel is leaking

• Build and prioritize a backlog of test hypotheses using a clear framework (ICE, PIE, or similar)

• Design and launch A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalization experiments

• Partner with our developers to get test variants live quickly and accurately

• Analyze test results properly: define sample sizes upfront, watch for validity issues, and report results honestly (including the losers)

• Roll winning tests into permanent improvements and share learnings across the team

• Continuously optimize the full funnel: PDPs, pop-ups, collection pages, cart, checkout, post-purchase, and paid traffic landing pages

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on CRO or experimentation experience in e-commerce

• Experience working on Shopify

• Solid statistical foundation in experimentation. You're comfortable with sample sizing, significance, and validity issues like peeking, and you know when a Bayesian approach makes more sense than a frequentist one for low-traffic or high-stakes decisions

• A track record of running tests that moved real metrics. Be ready to walk us through 2 or 3 of your favorites

• Working knowledge of A/B testing tools (Convert, Optimizely, AB Tasty, or similar)

• Comfortable in analytics tools like GA4, Shopify Analytics, and behavioral tools like Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity

• Able to write clear test specs and QA implementations built by developers

• Strong written communication. You can turn a test result into a clear story for non-technical stakeholders

Bonus Points

The following aren’t required, but candidates who bring any of these will stand out:

• A do-it-yourself streak on the technical side. If you can set up your own test variants on Shopify (light theme tweaks, simple front-end adjustments, or comfort with Liquid)

• Experience with Shopify Plus features

• Familiarity with personalization platforms and audience segmentation

• Background in UX research, behavioral psychology, or consumer behavior

• Experience optimizing paid traffic landing pages (Meta, Google, TikTok)

• Comfort pulling your own data with SQL or similar tools
