Our family in Toronto is looking for a warm, reliable and engaging nanny to care for our 13-month-old son. I’m a marketing consultant who works primarily from home, so we’re looking for someone who can spend time with our son while I work, take calls and meetings upstairs, or occasionally run errands. Most of the time I’ll be nearby, but we’d love to build a relationship with someone we trust to take on more independent care as he gets older — including the occasional evening or date night. We’re looking to start with approximately one day per week, with the potential for the role to grow over time as the relationship develops. The ideal person has experience caring for babies/toddlers and enjoys getting down on the floor to play, reading, going for walks, preparing simple meals/snacks, and helping with his usual routine.
