Detailed Job Description

The Senior Cook works as part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a new, modern, well-equipped commercial kitchen in order to prepare daily nutritious meals while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in eating and prep areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Three (3) years’ related experience.
- Equivalent combination of education training and experience will also be considered.
- Completed Grade 12 along with a recognized twelve (12) month program in cooking.
Requirements
- Food Safe Level 1 and Level 2.
- Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
Job Information
- Hourly Wage Rate: $29.22– $33.54.
- Days of Work: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with alternating Tuesday.
- Shift Time: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, alternating Tuesdays from 7:00 am. to 3:00 pm.
- Total Weekly Hours: Average 36.75 hours.
- Union: BCGEU.
- Work Location: Rock Bay Landing - 535 Ellice St.
- Job Type: Fulltime, Permanent.
- Expected Start Date: First week of October.
