We are a family based in the Comox Valley looking for a live-in nanny and personal assistant to join us in a unique blended role. This position is split between childcare and personal/executive support. Roughly half of the role involves caring for our two young children during the days they are with us, and the other half involves assisting with administrative tasks such as managing calendars, emails, booking travel, and helping keep things organized day to day. We are offering a live-in arrangement as part of the compensation package, including a private room, food, and access to a vehicle. The role also includes a strong benefits package, with opportunities for raises based on performance. As the children grow older, there is potential for this role to evolve into a more full-time position in a business or administrative capacity for the right person. Our schedule with the kids runs from Sunday midday through Wednesday morning. Sundays are generally lighter and you will not be needed for most of the day. You will have two days off per week, along with two weeks of vacation annually and flexibility to take additional time to enjoy the island. We encourage balance, whether that means a long weekend in Tofino or time outdoors locally. We live an active lifestyle and enjoy things like boating, nature walks, and disc golf, and we would love someone who fits naturally into that environment. At the same time, this role requires someone dependable, organized, and thoughtful. Responsibilities include childcare, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and helping maintain a well run home.
