Equity Research Expert
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
We are seeking experienced Equity Research Experts to contribute to a customer project focused on advanced financial analysis, modeling, earnings analysis, and sector insights.
You'll apply your expertise to evaluate real-world equity research content and help train next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required.
Scope of Work
- Review and evaluate equity research datasets for accuracy and relevance.
- Analyze earnings reports, estimate revisions, and peer benchmarking.
- Evaluate company financial models, including revenue, margins, cash flow, and valuation drivers.
- Prepare concise research summaries and event-driven updates.
- Develop and articulate investment theses using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Identify industry trends, sector-specific metrics, and company catalysts.
- Provide feedback to improve the quality and accuracy of research-related content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Sell-Side Research Associate, Research Analyst, VP, or Director with ownership of company models and research.
- Experience covering multiple companies across several earnings cycles.
- Strong understanding of business drivers, financial performance, and valuation.
- Deep expertise in at least one sector, such as banking, insurance, biotech, technology, or other industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, valuation, and event-driven research.
- Experience developing and defending investment theses and research views.
