Automotive Manufacturing Engineer Position

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will focus on optimizing processes in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. Implement Lean methodologies to maximize throughput and minimize waste. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer (3-5 years) with a strong background in automotive production. You will perform feasibility studies, improve process flow efficiencies, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on engineering projects. Your role will include conducting audits and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify solutions to improve manufacturing efficiencies
- Assess new capital equipment and support product development
- Implement corrective actions and mistake-proofing systems
- Maintain and update BOMs for accuracy
- Assist with troubleshooting tooling and processes
- 3-5 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing
- Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and Lean principles
- Experience with CAD software for layout optimization
- Understanding of quality management systems
