Are you a hands‑on problem solver who thrives on troubleshooting, precision, and delivering top‑tier service? Summit Valve is looking for a Service Technician who takes pride in their craftsmanship and wants to work with industry‑leading valve and automation systems. What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting both our Technical Services and Inside Sales teams by delivering expert service and technical support to our customers and internal teams. Speaking with clients and operators to understand their water distribution and wastewater systems Developing and building preventative maintenance plans tailored to each client’s needs Quoting field jobs and accurately estimating labor time for valve repair or replacement Procuring parts with support from the Service Coordinator and Inside Sales team Scheduling field service work directly with customers Performing repairs to Summit service standards and ensuring customer satisfaction Completing detailed post‑job reports and invoicing (with Service Coordinator support) Maintaining service trucks, including cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory management Technical Responsibilities

Valve automation (pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, electro‑hydraulic) Valve repair and maintenance Instrumentation troubleshooting, configuration, and calibration Panel fabrication Hydro testing valves and assemblies Servicing municipal and industrial valve systems You’ll ensure all work is completed in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS)—because at Summit Valve, precision and quality matter. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Instrumentation Engineering Technology or a related field 1–3 years of experience in a service technician or similar role Valid Class 5 Canadian Driver’s License Solid understanding of mechanical systems and fluid dynamics Technical Skills

Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) ERP/CRM experience is an asset Comfortable working with a variety of technical software tools Work Environment & Requirements

Comfortable traveling to remote locations across Alberta and BC, often for multiple days Willingness to work in tight spaces and perform confined space entry Ability to support after‑hours calls and emails Participation in an on‑call rotation (every 3 weeks) Weekend work may be required Experienced Service Technicians will be compensated competitively based on their background and skillset. Pay
