Senior Legal Counsel - Employment Focus

IREN is on the lookout for an experienced employment lawyer to serve as Senior Legal Counsel. This vital role requires providing comprehensive legal support to both corporate and operational teams in Canada, while also contributing to transnational legal discussions. Your expertise will ensure compliance and guidance through the complex landscape of employment law in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities: • Advise on the full employment lifecycle for the Canadian workforce • Draft and negotiate HR-related contracts and agreements • Oversee investigations, disputes, and litigation • Support compliance with health and safety regulations • Collaborate with HR to improve legal literacy across teams Requirements: • Admission to practice law in British Columbia • At least 8 years of relevant legal experience in employment • Strong understanding of Canadian employment and labor laws • Familiarity with cross-border employment issues advantageous • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Join IREN to impact employment law practices in a sustainable, innovative company. #J-18808-Ljbffr
