Technical Engineering Manager Pharma

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development & Project Management Leader with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. This multifaceted leadership role combines Business Development Account Management Technical Management Project Management and Functional Leadership.

The successful candidate will work closely with company leadership clients and project teams to drive business growth develop strategic client relationships deliver complex projects and build high-performing teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities supporting clients through technology transfers facility expansions equipment implementation process optimization manufacturing scale-up CQV process validation commercial readiness and regulatory inspection preparedness.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients industry contacts and key decision-makers.
  
• Develop and review proposals estimates change orders NDAs feasibility reports and master services agreements.
  
• Manage client accounts including scope changes financial considerations resource planning and project profitability.
  
• Lead and oversee complex projects ensuring delivery within established scope schedule budget and quality requirements.
  
• Develop project plans staffing strategies estimates reports and project management tools.
  
• Provide technical leadership and maintain current knowledge of pharmaceutical engineering validation facilities equipment and regulatory practices.
  
• Coach mentor and develop direct reports provide performance feedback and support professional development.
  
• Participate in recruitment performance management and other employee lifecycle activities.
  
• Advise company leadership on business development operational technical and strategic planning matters.

Required Skills:

- Degree in Science Engineering or a related discipline - . designation or progress Ontario is preferred - 68 years of experience in FDA- and/or HPFB-regulated industries - experience in pharmaceutical life sciences engineering manufacturing facilities equipment validation or related environments - strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and engineering principles and practices - strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards

Required Education:

Degree in Science or Engineering or working towards obtaining license in Ontario preferred
