Your new role  

Reporting directly to the owners, you will take full ownership of the accounting function across multiple real estate entities. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the full-cycle accounting process while also supporting broader operational, financing, and development activities.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting (AR/AP, reconciliations, payroll, and tax filings), preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and coordinating year-end processes with external accountants. You will also be involved in cash management, banking relationships, and assisting with project and construction cost tracking.

Given the size of the team, this role requires someone who is adaptable and comfortable stepping outside of traditional role boundaries to support various business needs when required.

What you'll need to succeed  

• CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset.
• Experience in full-cycle accounting, ideally within real estate or multi-entity environments
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and cash management
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in a hands-on capacity
• Ability to operate in a small, fast-moving environment with evolving priorities
• Bilingualism (French required, English considered an asset)
