You will leverage highly‑developed experience with financial analysis, credit, and client acquisition relationships, as well as portfolio management expertise and a strong client service mindset.

What will you do?



  • Apply past business development experience for prospecting and lead generation with new and existing clients.

  • Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation by reviewing financial statements, identifying trends, monitoring risk, and assessing needs for credit restructuring.

  • Provide an exceptional client experience through superior business and financial advice.

  • Leverage RBC’s expertise by identifying referral opportunities and making introductions with appropriate RBC partners.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute client contact strategies.

  • Champion digital enablement as an advocate for the RBC mobile application and wallet, promoting regular usage through education and guidance.

What do you need to succeed?


Must‑have



  • Minimum 3‑5 years of commercial banking experience.

  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

  • Credit skills, including risk assessment, financial analysis, structuring, and presentation of deals.

  • Specialized industry expertise in a past role (e.g., real estate, healthcare, agriculture).

  • Experience with emerging communications and technology such as web‑based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.

Nice‑to‑have



  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Deep knowledge of products and services depending on industry specialization.

  • New client acquisition skills (pitching, lead generation, cold calling, referral asking).

  • University degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or related field.
