Automotive Service Technician - Journeyman

*Job Summary*
The Revolution Auto Group is seeking qualified Automotive Service Technicians to join our team at Revolution Ford location, High Prairie, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs efficiently. This role requires a combination of mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience, and excellent customer service skills to ensure a high level of satisfaction for our clients.

*Duties*

* Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire installations & rotations, and fluid checks.
* Interpret schematics, technical manuals and charts to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
* Assemble and disassemble vehicle components including suspension installation as needed for repair or replacement.
* Be able to explain automotive repairs and issues with customers.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
* Assist in heavy lifting when necessary for parts installation or removal.
* Oher duties as assigned.

*Experience*

* Possess an Alberta Journeyman Certificate to perform work duties.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* General Motor experience will be an asset (training and support available)
* Valid driver's license for local travel with a clean driver's abstract.
* Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various automotive systems.
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, and performing heavy lifting tasks safely.
* May be required to lift objects weighing as much as 50 lbs.
* Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
* Ability to use the diagnostic equipment.
* Experience with heavy equipment in diesel mechanic, diesel knowledge, or can be trained.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
