Pet Specialty Sales Associate

Job Responsibility:
Global Pet Foods is a pet specialty retailer with over 180 stores across Canada. We specialize in pet nutrition, pet care and carry a wide selection of pet supplies. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team at our Grande Prairie location as a Pet Specialty sales associate.
Your primary responsibility will include but are not limited to:
· Customer service- assisting customers with their pet needs, including any inquiries and concerns they have.
· Operating a POS cash system, obtaining proper documentation, receipts, and cash out procedures.
· Receiving merchandise and putting away orders
· Restocking and facing product
· Maintaining cleanliness of store
· Be able to perform physically demanding work including standing, bending and lifting 30lbs on a regular basis. Example of this would be 30 to 40 pound bags of dog/cat kibble, crates, litter and larger product that can be in excess of 40 pounds.

· Exceptional computer skills and ability to navigate and use social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tik Tok
