Risk Manager - Project execution

The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operatesrenewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage.We are seeking a candidate with experience in project risk analysis across the project lifecycle, including cost and schedule risk analysis for Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects.The incumbent will be assigned to the North American and European business units to support with risk oversight of wind, solar and battery storage projects, while respecting the mandate of being part of an independent risk review team. ? You Will Play An Important Role In

• Provide expert risk management and support regional risk oversight and other strategic priorities for the business unit.
• Support regional collaborators in keeping business continuity management plans up to date.
• Prepare, analyze, and present various risk-related reports, updates, and dashboards for stakeholders, including executive committees and the Board of Directors.
• Accompany project managers to identify and analyze project risks and support the formulation of risk mitigation plans at all stages of the project.
• Conduct in-depth assessments to assess risk probability of occurrence and the impact of risks on project costs, schedule, and contingencies, using qualitative and quantitative analyses such as Monte Carlo simulations.
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls throughout the project lifecycle and establish key risk indicators (KRIs) to track risk status and trends.
• Participate in governance meetings on project progress, assist in resolving risk-related issues and escalate them as required.
• Develop and continuously improve the project risk management framework, integrating risk management processes into project planning and decision-making.
• Develop training materials and facilitate risk management training sessions to support project teams and respond to risk-related questions or concerns.

? To Succeed In This Position, You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g. PMP) is an asset.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project risk management, risk quantification, and/or project cost and schedule analysis.
• Mastery of project risk management methodologies and standards (e.g. AACE, ISO 31000, etc.).
• Proficiency in risk quantification tools such as @RISK for Monte Carlo statistical modeling is an asset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of project risks, energy sector and/or EPC industry.
• Bilingual (English/French).
