Sabre Machining Ltd. is in need of Machinist

Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders).
2. Program new parts and be able to set up the machine to run productions parts or single parts.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
4. Verify dimensions and quality using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
5. Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
6. Perform routine maintenance on machine tools and maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Follow company's safety program, policies, procedures and practices.
8. Work closely with supervisors and team members.
9. Perform other related tasks required.

Employment Requirements:
1. Education: Completion of secondary school education is required.
2. Work Experience: At least 2 years machining experience, manual and/or CNC, is required.
3. Experience programming milling with Mazak/Mazatrol Computer System is an asset.
4. Must be familiar with stainless steel or super duplex titanium and Inconel.
5. Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Working Hours: 8 hours/day, work schedule varies between day and night; 2 days off on weekends
