Senior Typescript Backend Engineer

Build scalable backend systems with TypeScript at Kake, a remote-first global community of senior engineers serving millions of users. Own production services end-to-end.As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design reliable software with TypeScript, Python, or C#. Your work includes REST or GraphQL APIs, data modelling, system architecture, and observability. You will collaborate with product and frontend teams while applying engineering best practices.Key Responsibilities:
Build and deploy production backend services end-to-endDesign and version REST or GraphQL APIsMake decisions about data models and service boundariesQuery relational and NoSQL databases for use casesWrite tested code and configure observabilityRequirements:
Five-plus years of software engineering experienceHands-on TypeScript, Python, or C# experienceModern Git workflows, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure experienceSystem design, SQL, and NoSQL database knowledgeStrong debugging and English communication skillsBring TypeScript expertise, architectural judgment, and backend ownership to Kake’s remote engineering community.
