This role is pivotal for Northland Power, requiring collaboration with the Americas and International Hubs. The successful candidate will provide legal support across a range of energy projects from start to finish, emphasizing project acquisitions, financing, and contracts. A minimum of two years' legal experience and a strong background in transactional law are essential. Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on land matters and permitting for projects
• Negotiate and draft commercial agreements
• Coordinate with specialty counsel across jurisdictions
• Support project acquisition and capital financing
• Manage litigation and community agreements

Requirements:

• 2+ years post-call legal experience
• Strong transactional experience in M&A and partnerships
• Knowledge of infrastructure and energy sectors
• Licensed to practice in a Canadian province
• Experience in project development and operations
