Vape Store Sales Associate

Job Responsibility:

Awesome new team member required at busy vape shop in Edmonton for weekend morning shifts and covering various morning shifts as needed.

• Providing customers with a friendly, welcoming environment.
• Helping people in your community reduce harm by quitting smoking cigarettes.
• Teaching customers how to use new products and how to make the correct decisions on their purchase.
• Helping customers decide on vape flavours by describing various vape juices.
• Building lasting relationships with customers by addressing their specific needs.
• Work in a fun team environment.
• Processing sales using a POS system.
• Handling cash and providing correct change.
• Handling problematic customer scenarios.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, organizing and tidying workspace.
• Making sure products are faced and restocked.
• Reporting to the manager for shop needs.

Vaping knowledge requirements:

• An in depth knowledge of vaping devices, their functions and differences between devices.
• Should have good knowledge of electronic cigarette vape hardware, juice & accessories.
• Knowledge of pod systems.
• E-juice types.
• Pods and coil types - their functions and uses.
• Batteries and battery safety.
• Faulty device/product diagnostics experience is helpful.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must be over the age of 18.
• Loves to sell vapes
• Should have good knowledge of electronic cigarette vape hardware, juice & accessories.
• Should have a great attitude and enjoy working with others.
• Work well with a team or independently.
• At least Grade 12 math.
• MS word/Excel awareness.
• Should enjoy working as a team!
• Display a positive attitude and respect towards customers, coworkers and management
• Must have great attention to detail with hand-washing, cleaning, sanitizing and hygiene!
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Must have reliable transportation/driver's license as shop operates late nights to early morning hours.
• Open availability & shift flexibility are a must!
• Knowledge prior knowledge POS machine operations is helpful.
• Criminal Record check is required.
• Job references required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00 per hour
