Responsibilities
Tasks
- Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals
- Examine milking operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations or standards
- Handling animals
- Monitor the calving process
- Monitoring animal health
- Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving
- Raise and breed livestock and poultry
- Perform general farm duties
- Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
