Industrial Quality Control Specialist
Ganotec
Industrial quality control specialists lead inspections, testing, and documentation across assigned trades while traveling to project sites throughout Canada and the United States.This mid-level Quality Specialist supports Ganotec District projects within Ganotec’s Industrial market. The work requires understanding project scopes and schedules, interpreting codes, coordinating inspections, and addressing quality concerns with clients. Assignments may include welding, piping, concrete, mechanical, electrical, or other defined scopes.Key Responsibilities:
Study project quality plans and applicable quality management documentsIdentify requirements from contracts, codes, and industry standardsDevelop and monitor project-specific Inspection and Testing PlansCoordinate inspections with operations, subcontractors, inspectors, and clientsDocument testing, reports, records, and nonconformance resolutionsRequirements:
Experience delivering quality control on oil and gas projectsKnowledge of assigned trade inspection and testing methodsWorking knowledge of ASME, TSSA, ESA, and CWB standardsTwo to four years of related construction experience, depending educationAbility to travel, relocate, and work rotating assignmentsApply quality control expertise, code interpretation, inspection planning, and client communication to Ganotec industrial projects across North America.
