Lead governance and compliance efforts at Hydro One as the Governance Officer. Safeguard corporate integrity while managing subsidiary governance frameworks, legal compliance, and confidential information. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the governance structures of Hydro One's subsidiary entities. Your responsibilities will include maintaining comprehensive subsidiary records, supporting director and officer appointments, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards. By efficiently coordinating board meetings and managing sensitive information, you'll enhance governance practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain complete and audit-ready corporate and subsidiary records
• Serve as administrator for governance management systems
• Support governance and board relations for executives
• Coordinate board meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions
• Identify governance risks and process improvement opportunities Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline required
• 4+ years in a governance or advisory role
• Knowledge of Ontario securities law and filings
• Experience in a Corporate Secretary’s Office preferred
• Strong organisational and time-management skills Enhance governance and compliance practices at Hydro One through effective management and strategic oversight.
