Duties & Responsibilities
- General maintenance and repair tasks
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance requests on a wide variety of specialized equipment
- Work on general structural maintenance and semi-skilled trade work
- Carry out preventative maintenance according to established program schedule
- Provide a wide variety of support service to other departments
- Provide expertise and assistance regarding casino facilities and equipment to internal and external parties
- Carry out regular exterior maintenance, weather permitting, ie: maintain the lawn, pick up garbage, signage, snow removal, etc.
- Provide a clean and safe casino environment for staff and guests
- Take direction from management when called upon
Qualifications
- Communicate clearly and accurately verbally and written
- Previous maintenance experience is preferred
- Provide friendly, timely, and accurate client service
- Follow direction and work within established procedures
- Work independently, be reliable, and take personal responsibility for tasks and deadlines
- Must be a team player, demonstrating respect and consideration of others
- Be able to operate basic janitorial equipment, including shampooers, vacuums, etc
- Previous maintenance experience would be an asset or experience in a trade relating to maintenance
