Our client, a leading Canadian financial institution, is looking for an experienced
Senior Business Systems Analyst to support
Treasury Risk Management and QRM technology initiatives .
Location:
Toronto - Hybrid, Thursday onsite
Contract: 6 months
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM, 37.5 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) platform and Treasury Risk Management initiatives
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Work closely with Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Liquidity Risk Management stakeholders
- Investigate issues, perform data analysis, and support issue triage
- Support reporting initiatives and reporting solution enhancements
- Collaborate with developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and technology teams
- Participate in solution reviews and enhancement initiatives
- Support future Databricks migration and data modernization activities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and stakeholder discussions
- 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience within Banking/Financial Services
- Experience with Treasury Risk Management, Liquidity Risk Management, Asset Liability Management (ALM), or Risk Management
- Experience supporting a QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) platform
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management experience
- Experience supporting reporting initiatives and reporting solutions
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and investigation
- Experience with Jira & Confluence
- Agile environment experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Databricks experience
- Reporting architecture or reporting solution design experience
- Treasury ALM experience
- Liquidity Risk Management experience
- Capital Markets or Treasury technology experience
- Previous experience with CIBC or other Big 5 Canadian banks
