With offices located throughout the United States, and as a signatory to local, national, and international labor union agreements, Vector Construction has the track record and the experience to meet our customers’ specialty contracting needs.Join Vector Construction – A Legacy of StrengthAt Vector Construction, we don't just repair concrete; we build lasting careers.We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead hand/Carpenter to oversee and assist our field teams in executing formwork and other carpentry tasks related to the restoration and protection of concrete structures.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate field crew activities on site to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.Perform advanced carpentry dutiesMaintain a clean, safe, and productive job site.Assist in training and mentoring less experienced carpenters and laborers.Work hand and hand with our site foreman, acting as a backup and stepping in to cover any gaps as necessary.Maintain accurate records and complete required safety forms and reports.Hands on work - demo/jackhammer/sandblasting/coatings/grouting/carbon fiber/epoxy injections etc.Other duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry, preferably involving formwork and concrete restoration projects.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team effectively.Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks and comfortable working from heights.Must be open to travelingValid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to and from project sites locally and / or out of town (if selected for out-of-town projects).Ability to pass Vector Construction’s drug screening program.Must be flexible in working day shift and night shift hours, depending on the job schedules.This position will be an hourly paid position.
