We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including FC, Madden NFL, College Football, The Sims, Battlefield, Plants vs. Zombies, Design Home, Star Wars, Sim City, Golf Clash, Pogo, and more. We're a multi-functional group, with world‑class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem.

We are looking for a Director of Demand Generation Media Excellence to join the Growth Marketing Organization. You will report into the Sr. Director Franchise Media, and be directly responsible for pushing forward demand generation media capabilities across all franchises. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in office at one of the posted locations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with a high-performing team of data-driven demand generation media buyers, specializing in media across PC, console, and mobile
  • Set standards for demand generation media innovation across EA’s campaign, including channel strategy, optimization levers, and existing AI adoption
  • Partner with platforms to prioritize demand generation media features for greater EA outcomes
  • Develop EA strategies to optimize outcomes from media platform evolutions and industry updates
  • Develop and gain alignment for Media Investment Framework, to be used by Franchise Directors in funnel allocations
  • Set channel execution standards (campaign set‑up, use of platform features, measurement implementation, experimentation implementation, etc.)
  • Cross-functional change management and remove barriers to functional best practices
  • Develop training material and programs for Demand Generation buying skills and cross‑train talent

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in brand media, managing demand creation and demand conversion across PC, console, and mobile games
  • 5+ years of influencing senior leaders
  • Experience managing AAA game media budgets
  • Ownership, accountability, and ability to solve complex problems
  • In-depth understanding of user acquisition algorithms, measurements, and creative best practices
  • BA/BS Degree in marketing, finance, or equivalent quantitative field
  • Passion and knowledge for video games

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges (selected locations):

  • British Columbia: $160,700 - $224,700 CAD
  • California: $182,600 - $276,300 USD
  • Washington: $175,600 - $233,600 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours of sick time per year, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks of paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan for full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days of sick time per year, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan for full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
