Drive member advocacy as the Member Health Support Manager at the Elementary Teachers of Toronto. This impactful role focuses on managing sick leave, workplace accommodations, and long-term disability support. ETT seeks an experienced professional to navigate complex health-related workplace issues for its members. You will coordinate closely with Executive Officers and employers, providing essential guidance in attendance, WSIB, and return-to-work processes. Your expertise will significantly impact members' health advocacy and workplace support. Key Responsibilities:
• Support members with WSIB and return-to-work meetings
• Maintain confidential case records for all members
• Track and report trends to ETT Executive
• Provide guidance to Executive Officers on member cases
• Facilitate workshops on sick leave and accommodation issues Requirements:
• Experience in labour relations or case management
• Strong knowledge of WSIB and ESA processes
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage sensitive situations independently
• Commitment to equity and social justice principles Lead the way in supporting educators through health challenges with ETT.
