Expected Start Date: November 05, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Pasqua Hospital City/Town: Regina Department: General Medical Nursing Unit - Medicine - 3D Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Physician Assistant Degree $51.102 to $62.5 Travel Required: No Job : Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an asset
Education
- Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC
- Successful completion of a recognized accredited PA educational program
Licenses
- Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or
- Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).
- Certified with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants
- Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a Physician Assistant
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA.
