Electrical Engineer at Agnico Eagle

You will report directly to the Electrical General Supervisor and support key project management tasks. Your role includes developing electrical safety programs, compliance with safety regulations, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure site reliability. Collaborate closely with various teams to enhance our commitment to a safe and responsible mining operation.

Key Responsibilities: • Ensure power availability using low and medium voltage equipment • Track energy consumption and manage electrical distribution • Oversee electrical and instrumentation engineering projects • Develop construction and distribution plans • Support maintenance program development and advanced troubleshooting

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering • 5 years of relevant experience • Underground distribution experience required • Knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software • Active membership in professional organization
